Welcome to my Website! I’m Pearl Susanne, a Certified Personal Trainer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK.

I left my secure full time nursing job to pursue a career helping people get fitter both physically and mentally.  I believe that both exercise and good nutrition are the key to a happy body and mind.

I have transformed my own body and then my life (more on that in my story) and would love to help you with yours.

There is nothing more fulfilling and satisfying to know that I’m contributing positively towards my clients reaching their goals.

What I do

I specialise in helping clients change their body composition, shredding fat and building muscle. I teach a variety of training methods such as body weight training, calisthenics , weight lifting, body building, gymnastics and high intensity training.

The best thing is about my style of training is that you will never find yourself on a machine – yes that means NO treadmills (or should we call them dreadmills), cross trainers or steppers.

I believe Personal Training should teach you something new every session which you can develop confidence in doing it yourself.

WHERE?

I train people 1-1 within Sudden Movements The Gym, located just off Kirkstall Road Leeds, (10, Carlton Mills Estate, Pickering St, Leeds LS12 2QG)

Its great because you do not need to become a member of the gym and can still use facilities around our sessions such as the showers and lockers.

COFFEE / SNACK BAR

We serve coffee and smoothies within Sudden Movements Gym. Be aware of the guilt free raw caramel slice on sale as its highly delicious and addictive! Our super food smoothies are packed with goodness and energised with plant based proteins that are designed to compliment your workout.

GROUP TRAINING

I facilitate one 60 minute class and a 45 minute class within Sudden Movements Gym, ‘Fully Loaded’ and ‘Metcon’.  Fully Loaded is a high intensity class which focuses on bodyweight only moves  which can help with mobility and flexibility, at the same time as increasing your cardio fitness. Metcon focuses on a fast paced, high intensity workout completed in a short period of time, which will sure challenge your cardiovascular capacity, put your metabolism into overdrive and rapidly burn fat.

Packages

Personal Training Packages are dependent on your personal goal. I would love to meet you in person to see how is best to help. The first session comes at a small fee, which will be deducted from a package of your choice.

First Session: *24 hour cancellation policy applies. Should the session be cancelled within 24 hours, there will be no refund for this.  If you are over 10 minutes late for the planned session it will be cancelled. Should I be late to the session by 10 minutes, a free session will be given.

MONITORING:

I will take your measurements and weight and use these as a baseline. I would recommend that you take some before photos so you can compare and see your changes. We can do this on your phone in the gym if you cannot get someone to take them for you. I will then measure you after an appropriate time scale which will be discussed with you to to monitor and document progress.

NUTRITION:

In order for us to successfully work together, we will need to have a consultation regarding your dietary habits. Exercise plays a big role, however nutrition is a bigger aspect in working towards your health.

From the information you give me, this will help me determine the best route to make some positive changes to your diet. I will assess how much help you would require.

If I think its necessary from our consultation, I will ask you to make an account on MyFitnessPal where I can link in with your diary to keep monitoring your food intake. I can support you with the appropriate calorie and macro nutrient goal. So if you bite it, you write it. I would expect you to only log your foods and drinks for a few weeks until you get an idea on which types of foods the quantities you need.  I provide ongoing feedback and advice to ensure the best results.
