What I Do

I teach a variety of training methods such as body weight training, calisthenics, barbell training, gymnastics and high intensity training.

The best thing is about my style of training is that you will never find yourself on a machine – yes that means NO treadmills (or should we call them dreadmills), cross trainers or steppers.

I believe Personal Training should teach you something new every session which you can develop confidence in doing it yourself.

 

 

WHERE?

I train people 1-1 within Sudden Movements The Gym, located just off Kirkstall Road Leeds, (10, Carlton Mills Estate, Pickering St, Leeds LS12 2QG)

Its great because you do not need to become a member of the gym and can still use facilities around our sessions such as the showers and lockers.

Packages

Personal Training Packages are dependent on your personal goal. I would love to meet you in person to see how is best to help. The first session* comes at a small fee, which will be deducted from a package of your choice.

PACKAGES: 

INDIVIDUAL:

4 SESSIONS PER MONTH: £150

8 SESSION PER MONTH: £280

12 SESSIONS PER MONTH: £372

 

BUDDY UP (2 PEOPLE):

4 SESSION PER MONTH: £100 (pp)

8 SESSIONS PER MONTH: £180 (pp)

12 SESSIONS PER MONTH: £240 (pp)

SMALL GROUP TRAINING (UP TO 5 PEOPLE):
£50 PER HOUR
So if you have a group of friend and want to learn something specific, such as handstands, or a skill on the rings, then split the fee and come as a group!

MONITORING:

If your goal is fat loss, I will take your measurements and weight and use these as a baseline. I would recommend that you take some before photos so you can compare and see your changes. We can do this on your phone in the gym if you cannot get someone to take them for you. I will then measure you after an appropriate time scale which will be discussed with you to to monitor and document progress.

However, this is not always necessary and is personal choice. If you are training for a skill, other measures of progress will be used!

NUTRITION:

In order for us to successfully work together, we will need to have a consultation regarding your dietary habits. Exercise plays a big role, however nutrition is a bigger aspect in working towards your health.

From the information you give me, this will help me determine the best route to make some positive changes to your diet. I will assess how much help you would require, I know nutrition can be super tricky to get your mind around.

If I think its necessary from our chat, I will ask you to make an account on MyFitnessPal where I can link in with your diary to  monitoring your food intake. I can support you with the appropriate calorie and macro nutrient goal. I would expect you to only log your foods and drinks for a few weeks until you get an idea on which types of foods the quantities you need.  I provide ongoing feedback and advice to ensure the best results.

*First Session: 24 hour cancellation policy applies. Should the session be cancelled within 24 hours, there will be no refund for this.  If you are over 10 minutes late for the planned session it will be cancelled. Should I be late to the session by 10 minutes, a free session will be given.
