I was super proud of my food shop today, after a few too many unhealthy treats over the festive period I was craving good nutritious meals. So I jumped to aldi first thing and this was what I bought (see below). I understand that sometimes people find it hard to get creative with meals what they buy, so I wanted to give you an idea on what kinds of meals which I will make from this list for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. This will likely last me over a week.
Shopping List
Basa Fillets x4
Spinach
Asparagus Tips x2 packs
15 Pack of Free Range Eggs
6 pack Jazz Apples
Chicken Mini Fillets
Brocolli
Smoked Mackeral Fillets x 2
Avocado x4
Smoked Salmon (200g)
Fresh King Prawns(150g)
Grapefruit x3
Pineapple Chunks
6 pack tomatos
Mixed peppers x3
Balsamic vinegar
Chilli Infused Olive Oil
Breakfast:
Eggsx2, Salmon, Spinach & Avocado drizzle of balsamic vinegar
Eggsx2, Asparagus, Peppers & Mushrooms
Eggsx2, Mushrooms, Smoked Salmon
Mackeral Fillets, Mushrooms and Avocado
Snacks:
½ Grapefruit (Sprinkle Cinnamon over- which is not in shopping list)
1 sliced Apple

Lunch/ Dinner:
Chicken Fillets, Brocolli and Asparagus and Mushrooms with a drizzle of chilli infused olive oil
Mackeral, salad tomato, spinach and pepper drizzle of balsamic vinegar
King Prawns, Brocolli, Tomato and Asparagus
Omelette- Eggs x2, Mushrooms, Spinach, Asparagus with Smoked Salmon
Chicken Fillets, Brocolli, Pineapple and Pepper
There are not many complex carbohydrates here, so I would advise you to add in some sweet potato or rice with your meals for after your workout. Eating this way will assist in fat loss, less sugar cravings due to the unprocessed nature of these meals. I would also recommend drinking either only water, black coffee/ tea or a milk alternative such as Almond milk or herbal tea. Yes that means throw that soda away!
Don’t be afraid of spices too to jazz the meals up with spices too. I love spice so I have cayenne pepper over my meals. It tastes amazing with Eggs 😉
